ABOUT

The project aims to address the growing need for digital well-being within school communities, focusing on challenges such as digital literacy, online safety, and balanced technology use. Recognizing that these challenges affect multiple generations, the initiative proposes engaging grandparents, senior adults, students and teachers in after-school projects and capacity-building workshops. The initiative aims to create sustainable frameworks and programs to support these efforts.

Volkshochschule (VHS) Passau, Germany

Volkshochschule (VHS) Passau is an adult education centre in Passau, Germany, offering a wide range of courses in languages, digital skills, culture, health, and professional development. VHS Passau promotes lifelong learning, intercultural understanding, and social inclusion, supporting migrant integration and community engagement. The centre actively participates in European cooperation projects to enhance education, inclusion, and innovation.

WeLearn, Ireland

WeLearn is an Irish SME, specialising in non-formal well-being education. WeLearn works with schools, youth groups, women’s centres and community-based organisations to support individuals to develop their own self-care and well-being routines. It also works directly with teachers and youth workers to upskill them in trauma-informed approaches to supporting youth well-being. Its mission is to provide well-being and mindfulness coaching to individuals in underserved rural communities in Ireland.

CARDET (Centre for the Advancement of Research and Development in Educational Technology) is a leading research and development centre based in Nicosia, Cyprus. It designs and implements innovative projects in education, digital transformation, social inclusion, migration, and sustainable development. CARDET collaborates with universities, ministries, and civil society organisations worldwide, promoting equity, innovation, and capacity building through evidence-based research and educational programmes.

Authority for Quality Assurance in Primary and Secondary Education (AQAPSE) & 1st Primary School of Rafina, Greece

The Authority for Quality Assurance in Primary and Secondary Education (AQAPSE) is an independent authority based in Athens, operating with administrative autonomy under the supervision of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sports. Its mission is to systematically evaluate the quality of the education system and provide expert support to the Ministry in enhancing the design and implementation of the national strategy for Primary and Secondary Education. Through rigorous assessment processes and evidence-based recommendations, AQAPSE aims to foster continuous improvement across all levels of compulsory education.

It develops programmes for disadvantaged groups, including the unemployed, migrants, and women, collaborating with public and private organisations to foster inclusion, entrepreneurship, and equal opportunities. IFESCOOP’s experience in EU-funded projects strengthens educational and labour market integration.
